Assistant Site Manager – Leading Residential Developer | Barking | Long-Term Contract
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Site Manager to join a leading residential developer on a large-scale regeneration project in Barking. This is a long-term contract position offering stability, excellent career prospects, and the chance to be part of a first-class site team.
Our client is open to considering candidates from both main contractor and developer backgrounds but is ideally seeking a well-rounded individual with strong site experience across all phases of residential construction.
Role & Responsibilities:

Support the Site Manager in the day-to-day management of the project.
*
Coordinate trades and subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
*
Assist with site paperwork, health & safety compliance, and progress reporting.
*
Liaise with internal teams, design managers, and external stakeholders.
*
Ensure high standards of presentation, quality, and customer satisfaction on site.
Requirements:
*
Proven experience as an Assistant Site Manager (or similar role) on residential projects.
*
Solid knowledge of modern construction methods and sequencing.
*
Strong communication and organisational skills.
*
SMSTS / SSSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications preferred.
*
A proactive, team-oriented attitude with a focus on quality and delivery.
