Quality Systems Manager

THE ROLE: Join us as our Quality Systems Manager within the Quality Assurance and Quality Systems department.
You will work as part of a high performing and established team and will play a key role to oversee the management of the Quality Systems functions including, validation, regulatory and customer audits, traceability and assisting product recall, change control and technical agreements.

WHERE YOU WILL BE BASED: Swadlincote, this role is site based but there may also be some requirement to travel if required.
To oversee validation activities to ensure compliance and adherence to schedules, customer and regulatory requirements.
To manage the change management process.
Ensure the timely investigation of NCRs including root cause analysis and risk classification.
Management of the corrective and preventative actions (CAPA).
Promote food safety and quality culture through continuous improvement.
Lead quality investigations/projects and write quality/technical reports and documents.
Ensure continuous training and development of your team.
To maintain quality KPI's providing senior management with reports when necessary.
You will have excellent organisational skills, ability to prioritise and react to change quickly and positively, you will also ideally have: Proven experience in a Quality Systems environment in a similar industry with pharmaceutical and food manufacturing experience.
Pharmaceutical quality system training courses and qualifications preferable.
5 years direct experience in quality with a food manufacturing business.
Experience of managing/supervising a team working in a quality/technical dept.
Proven ability to develop, maintain and enhance relationships with a variety of internal and external networks.
