Facilities Assistant Location: Rotherham and Worksop (across 3 campus) Hours: Full - Time, 37 hours Salary: £29,455 per annum Contract: Permanent About the Role: Our Client is seeking an experienced Estates Group Decorator to support the upkeep and enhancement of college buildings across all campuses. Reporting to the Director of Estates, Facilities, Health & Safety and Security, you will play a key role in maintaining high visual and safety standards across a diverse estate. This is a cross‑site position requiring regular travel, flexibility to work evenings and weekends, and the ability to manage a varied workload independently and as part of a wider Estates team. Key Responsibilities: * Prepare surfaces through cleaning, sanding, filling and removal of old coverings. * Apply paints, varnishes, stains and protective coatings to internal and external surfaces. * Install internal and external vinyl coverings. * Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure correct branding, colours and finishes. * Develop and manage a planned schedule of decorating works across all campuses. * Carry out planned maintenance tasks and respond to reactive repair requests. * Perform sealing and mastic work in bathrooms, kitchens and other suitable areas. * Assist with general maintenance duties such as exam room setups or furniture moves. * Comply fully with COSHH and health & safety regulations. ...
