Greenfields Primary School and Nursery is now recruiting for a Holiday Camp Playworker. This role could be your next career opportunity. About the role Greenfields Primary School & Nursery are looking for playworker for their Holiday Camp to provide wrap around care for working parents during the school holiday. We are looking for an individual who can support the school and act as a member of the team in helping to supervise the children, provide and encourage an inviting and stimulating inclusive play environment in the school building and in the outdoor areas which meets the needs of all the children who use it. To plan and implement a play programme with the children and team which includes diverse opportunities for playful experiences. To keep the site and building in a safe, clean and tidy condition. To work with other staff, as required. To attend meetings, briefings and training sessions as appropriate. To be alert to and act on concerns regarding any children’s safety, health and well-being, acting in accordance with safeguarding procedures and child protection legislation. To conduct yourself in a manner compatible with an organisation that works with children, promoting equalities and equal opportunities in all aspects. To undertake other reasonable tasks as directed by the Holiday Camp Manager. All staff and volunteers are expected to keep matters concerning staff and children confidential, and to refer matters when necessary to the Holiday Camp Manager.
