Location & Salary
 * St Albans
 * £45,000 – £55,000 + package
Key Responsibilities
 * Coordinate and manage design information from tender through to completion.
 * Prepare and review technical documentation, specifications, and design programmes.
 * Manage design registers, RFIs, and drawing schedules, ensuring accurate version control.
 * Collaborate with consultants, subcontractors, and internal delivery teams to ensure compliance with design intent and construction requirements.
 * Assist with design meetings, progress reporting, and value engineering exercises.
 * Contribute to risk identification and mitigation from a design and buildability perspective.
 * Support pre‑construction teams in reviewing tender documentation and assisting with technical submissions.
Requirements
 * Degree qualified in Architecture, Design Management, Engineering or a similar construction‑related discipline.
 * 13+ years of experience within a main contractor or design consultancy environment.
 * Strong understanding of design processes and technical documentation for Design & Build projects.
 * Excellent organisational, communication, and coordination skills.
 * Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced project environment.
 * Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office; BIM knowledge beneficial.
