About the Role
As an Area Clinical Lead, you will provide clinical leadership across a defined locality and advanced practice area, supporting the delivery of high‑quality, safe, and person‑centred care. Working across the four pillars of advanced practice, you will promote clinical excellence, drive workforce development, embed effective governance, and contribute to service transformation. This role involves collaboration with operational, education, and quality colleagues, as well as local system partners, to improve patient outcomes and address health inequalities.
You will be responsible for the oversight of clinicians in the dispatch desk, including governance, education, training, productivity, and clinical audit. The post includes a sessional job plan (40% locality‑based, 40% specialty‑based, 20% clinical practice).
