Overview
We are looking for a personal assistant to help a 4‑year‑old boy with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and non‑ambulant, non‑verbal needs. The role involves supporting him at home, going out to parks and other activities, ensuring he has fun, and assisting with personal care such as tube feeding and suction.
Responsibilities
* Provide day‑to‑day support at home and during outings
* Plan and engage in play activities tailored to the child's needs
* Assist with personal care, including tube feeding and regular suction
* Support the child’s mobility and communication needs
* Maintain a safe and caring environment
Qualifications
* Experience interacting with children who have additional needs
* Confident, caring, and patient attitude with strong reliability
* Ability to learn the child's preferences quickly
* Possession of an enhanced check through PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups)
* Driving licence is an advantage, but not essential
