Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Design
* Translate business requirements into scalable & simplified Sage X3 architecture.
* Lead the development of technical blueprints and solution roadmaps.
* Ensure OOB functionality & best practice is adopted.
* Define integration strategies with third-party systems.
Technical Oversight
* Provide architectural guidance and code reviews for development works & related guidance to support teams.
* Optimise system performance, reliability, and scalability.
* Manage infrastructure and database configurations related to Sage X3.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Sage X3 solutions.
Leadership
* Define the Sage X3 roadmap and delivery plan, ensuring capabilities are aligned to business demand & best practice.
* Provide expertise and insights in Sage X3 modules
* Forge strong relationships with Software providers and SI partners.
* Define and plan version releases to ensure we stay current on our platform.
* Oversee end-to-end implementation and customisation of Sage X3 modules.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT apps & business stakeholders
* Ensure compliance with internal governance, security, and data standards.
* Keep abreast of the Sage X3 technology space including peripheral solutions which could drive efficiency and business value.
Stakeholder Engagement
* Act as the primary liaison between IT and business units for ERP-related initiatives.
* Lead workshops & plan training sessions, and user adoption strategies.
* Support change management and continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications
* Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
* 8+ years of hands-on experience with Sage X3 architecture and implementation.
* Deep knowledge of Sage X3 modules (Finance, Distribution, Manufacturing).
* Proficiency in Sage X3 development tools (4GL, X3 script), SQL, and integration frameworks.
* Experience with cloud-based deployments and ERP migrations.
Preferred Qualifications
* Sage X3 certification(s).
* Project management credentials (e.g. PMP, Agile).
* Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or retail sectors.

Salary
This role offers a competitive salary, dependent on experience. We operate a reward strategy based on our team members receiving a salary that best reflects their experience and skill level.
Hours of work
Normal working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5pm. On occasion you may be required to work evenings and weekends during busy periods to meet the demands of the business.
Annual leave
Our holiday entitlement is 25 days per annum (plus bank holidays and statutory public holidays).
