This role requires a broad understanding of enterprise systems, cloud platforms, and software delivery practices, ideally within the payments or financial services domain.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
1. Strong, broad-based understanding of a wide range of technologies relevant to Barclaycard, including emerging technologies such as AWS, Azure, Java, and Adaptive/Responsive Design.
2. Solid awareness of IT Security principles, patterns, and best practices.
3. Demonstrated experience in designing secure, scalable, highly available, resilient, and performant solutions.
4. In-depth knowledge of software delivery and deployment patterns, including Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery, with a strong grasp of Enterprise Container Platforms (e.g., Docker).
