YouTube Video Editor & Producer — BioEquity Insights
Full-time | Fully remote | One-month trial, converts to permanent
About the company
BioEquity Insights provides independent biotech deal review for early-stage investors. We help angels, syndicate leads, family offices, and venture investors turn complex science into clear investment decisions - through structured deal framing, independent domain expert input, and investment-focused written analysis.
As part of our client acquisition and thought leadership strategy, the founder publishes video content covering biotech investing, scientific diligence, drug development, and life sciences analysis. This content is designed to reach and build trust with the investor audience that BioEquity Insights serves - attracting qualified inbound interest for the consulting practice by demonstrating analytical depth and credibility on camera.
About the role
This role supports that channel. This is primarily a video editing and production role. The majority of your time will be spent editing YouTube content to a high standard, with a strong focus on audience retention, engagement, channel growth, and attracting the right viewers: early-stage biotech investors and life sciences professionals.
One 10-minute talking-head video, edited and published every day. The setup is a one-month paid trial that converts to a permanent retainer if it's working for both sides.
The daily workflow is consistent: you receive a finished script, raw footage, and a B-roll brief. You return a publish-ready video: colour graded, audio cleaned, captions added, B-roll cut in, motion graphics where they add something. You also write the title, description, tags, and timestamps, upload to YouTube, schedule the post, and cut a few Shorts from the same footage. The pipeline runs every day, so staying organised matters.
Requirements
* 2+ years editing long-form YouTube content in the 8-12 minute talking-head format
* Portfolio of full videos, not clip reels — links on CV/resume are required to apply (applications that don't include it will not be reviewed.)
* Can write titles and descriptions for CTR and search, not just technically accurate ones
* Proficient in Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve
* Actively uses AI tools in your production workflow
* Works independently to a daily deadline without hand-holding
* Fluent English - the content involves dense scientific and financial language and the titles, descriptions, and metadata you write need to reflect that
* Comfortable with scientific and financial subject matter
Nice to have: life sciences or biotech background, YouTube analytics experience, advanced motion graphics skills.
To apply: send your CV, links to long-form YouTube videos you edited (full videos, 10+ minutes), and a brief note on which AI tools you use in production.
