Duties as a Workshop Controller:
13. Oversee the daily operations of the workshop, ensuring efficient workflow and high productivity
14. Manage and lead the team of service technicians and workshop staff, encouraging excellent performance and customer service
15. Work closely with service managers to deliver outstanding customer experiences, maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism
16. Achieve departmental profit targets and optimise workshop retention levels
17. Assist in planning and organising workshop activities to meet deadlines and customer expectations
Requirements for this Workshop Controller role:
18. Full UK driving licence
19. Proven experience in a similar workshop management or controller role within the motor trade, ideally in a main dealer environment
20. We can consider experienced senior technicians who are looking to porgress
21. Attention to detail and a passion for delivering excellent customer service
22. Strong industry knowledge and understanding of workshop operational processes
23. Ability to motivate and lead a team effectively
24. Enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
