Role summary
To assist in the bureau ensuring all secure items are processed correctly and sent to the right destinations at the right time in compliance to a stringent Security Policy and client specification.
Key responsibilities
1. To adhere to the Security Policy in the Bureau.
2. To handle items of mail including envelopes, packages and parcels in a controlled way as trained and authorised. This will be either by automatic or manual processing.
3. To use company systems as trained and authorised to create, record and update processing.
4. To carry out all tasks in accordance with current Bureau and Company procedures and the employee staff handbook.
5. To ensure that the working area is clean and tidy
6. To carry out all tasks in a safe manner, including some repetitive manual handling
7. To perform any other duties as reasonably requested by the Bureau Management team.
Essential criteria for this role
Previous experience in the logistics or distribution industry
