Team / division overview
DWS Alternatives manages EUR 110 billion globally, including Infrastructure, Real Estate, Private Equity, Alternative Credit, and Liquid Real Assets. You will join the Real Estate division, managing approx. EUR 55 billion worldwide and EUR 25 billion in Europe, focusing on acquiring and managing investments in assets and portfolios.
The EMEA Value-Add team handles full lifecycle of complex Real Estate opportunities, including origination, investment, asset management, and disposition, across multiple asset classes in Europe.
Responsibilities include:
* Sourcing and executing Value-Add European Real Estate, mainly in the Living-Sector across UK, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, and France.
* Managing the full acquisition lifecycle, from underwriting to closing.
* Leading capital market activities related to financing assets.
* Managing asset management, joint ventures, and dispositions.
* Presenting opportunities to senior management and investment committees.
* Building relationships within DWS and supporting growth of the platform.
* Collaborating with the Real Estate Investment Specialist team for global capital raising.
We are looking for:
* Extensive experience in European Real Estate Private Equity, focusing on Value-Add strategies.
* Experience across multiple asset classes, especially Living-Sector.
* Proven coverage of EMEA markets, particularly UK, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, and France.
* Ability to run complex financial models and conduct comprehensive due diligence.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Professional network with operators, developers, brokers, banks, and advisors.
* Degree in Finance, Real Estate, Law, or relevant industry experience.
