Deputy Service Manager
Reporting to the Service Manager and working closely with clinical colleagues, the Deputy Service Manager will deliver integrated clinical, operational and financial performance for a specified specialty. The role ensures national and local access targets are achieved and delivers people, performance and financial objectives in line with the specialty’s business plan.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide leadership to the specialty and contribute to developing strategic direction.
* Be accountable for the operational management of the specialty.
* Support the Service Manager and Group Manager with the financial performance of the group, overseeing specialty financials.
* Ensure specialty-level commitment to develop plans for 7/7 working.
* Support reporting on specialty performance to Group Board meetings.
* Represent the specialty locally, developing partnerships, sharing best practice and integrating knowledge within the Trust.
* Set an example for other staff through personal behaviours.
