The Role
To prospect for and manage regional and independent housebuilders / developers / contractors
To win, track, and protect specifications on new-build housing developments
Engage Commercial Directors, procurement, and senior decision-makers
Build relationships with plumbing and heating merchants and KBB sub-contractors
Maintain and grow a high-performing territory with circa £2m turnover
Approx. 25% account management with existing accounts and 75% prospecting for new opportunities
Role Overview
Act as the key point of contact for all your clients / projects
Drive specification activity across new-build residential projects
Protect existing specifications while identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell
Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure project delivery and account continuity
Manage your own diary with autonomy, balancing field activity, head office visits and home working
Operate in a mature territory focused on relationship management and long-term growth
The Candidate
Proven, stable track record in sales with house builders, developers and contractors - calibre matters most
Housebuilder specification or KBB experience is a must
Construction industry background welcomed
Comfortable influencing senior stakeholders
Relationship-led, self-motivated, and commercially sharp

Based in Burgess Hill, West Sussex: Windmill Projects Ltd is an independent manufacturer of kitchens and bedrooms for the contract and retail markets. With over 35 years' experience we design, manufacture, deliver and install our products throughout the South on sites varying from one off houses to large building sites.
With our team of sales, designers, factory operatives and installers we are looking for someone to join our team who can advocate our ethos of providing detailed and accurate tenders that meet our clients design and budget requirements
The Package
Up to £45,000 basic + healthy commission structure based on industry experience
