SEN Teaching Assistant – HUB Provision Sheffield Through Teaching Personnel ⏰ Full-time / Part-time opportunities available Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive school in Sheffield to recruit a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a HUB provision. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs in a structured, nurturing environment. The Role: As an SEN Teaching Assistant in the HUB, you will: Support pupils with Special Educational Needs (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and communication needs) Work with individuals and small groups to support learning, behaviour, and emotional regulation Assist the class teacher and wider SEN team in delivering tailored interventions Help create a safe, calm, and positive learning environment Support pupils with personal development, independence, and social skills The Ideal Candidate: Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school-based or alternative settings desirable) A calm, patient, and empathetic approach Strong communication and teamwork skills A genuine passion for helping pupils overcome barriers to learning Relevant qualifications or training in education, care, or SEN are desirable but not essential What Teaching Personnel Offers: Competitive weekly pay, paid via PAYE Ongoing CPD and SEN-specific training A dedicated consultant to support you throughout your placement Opportunities for long-term and permanent roles The chance to make a real difference in a specialist HUB setting All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
