Our Retail Assistants are vital to the running of a store, so you’ll always be kept busy. And with the help of our excellent training programmes and varied shift patterns to support a healthy work life balance, you’ll be on the right track for a promising career with us!

Career progression programs
First Steps to Management (16 weeks): Open to Service Assistants looking to move into management, with on-the-job learning and a path to a Trade Counter Supervisor role.
Power Up to Trade+ (12-15 months): Trade Supplier Apprenticeship at level 2, blending practical and online learning to become a Trade+ Sales Supervisor.
Trade Up to Branch Manager (over 15 months): Close supervision and structured learning to run a store, culminating in a Level 4 Retail Manager Apprenticeship.
Learning for Life: Open opportunities to develop wider life skills, with Maths and English coaching through Skills Forward for colleagues and their families.
