Software Frameworks and Methodologies Lead
Location: ScottishPower HQ, Glasgow
Salary: £57-72K (plus up to 15% bonus and single healthcare cover)

Security Clearance Requirement
* The successful candidate must obtain UK Government Security Clearance.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Consult on the design of software systems and the integration of software development tools across multiple business areas.
* Manage the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and champion the adoption of the global secure software development process.
* Serve as the owner and subject‑matter expert for secure software development standards, methods, and tools, ensuring accountability for governance, oversight and adoption.
* Lead education, training and awareness initiatives related to these standards.
* Implement governance and control mechanisms to ensure compliance.
* Support UK businesses in adopting the SDLC.
Other Aspects Of The Role
* Provide guidance on the software architecture of applications.
* Advise software development partners on the appropriate tools and standards.
* Consult on the adoption of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline tooling.
* Liaise with the global business to ensure the suitability of CI/CD solutions for UK operations.
* Verify solutions to ensure they meet defined standards and requirements.
* Prepare and deliver reports as needed.
What We’re Looking For
* In‑depth knowledge and experience with Secure Software Development Life Cycle (S‑SDLC) practices.
* Hands‑on experience with full‑stack design and development technologies to consult and advise various software development teams.
* Proven expertise in architecting software solutions, including the selection and integration of appropriate components and frameworks.
* Experience in developing secure‑by‑design applications, with a strong understanding of application security architecture.
* Act as the subject‑matter expert for software development practices and provide guidance to senior developers, ensuring adherence to best practices.
* Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence effectively across multiple businesses, projects and teams.
