Sellick Partnership are delighted to be working with a local authority in the East Midlands in supporting them with the permanent recruitment of Child Care Lawyer into their legal team.
Summary of the Child Care Lawyer opportunity:
Sellick Partnership is excited to be recruiting a Childcare Lawyer to join the supportive and sociable Legal Team at Local Authority. Our client is seeking a qualified lawyer who has experience in Childcare or Public Law from either private practice or local authority and is looking for the next step in their career. They are happy to hear from newly qualified and experienced Solicitors.
The main duties of the successful Childcare Lawyer will include:
1. Handling a caseload of mainly child protection cases and pre-proceedings matters.
2. Undertaking advocacy on behalf of the council.
3. Advising Social Services clients face-to-face and in writing, on all aspects of relevant legislation.
4. Prepare all legal documentation relevant to the caseload, and in particular prepare a wide variety of court documents, advise on social care law, and assist the Senior Social Care Lawyers and Principal Lawyer in relation to the most complex or speciali...
