Hours: 32 hours per week, working 5 days across Monday - Sunday, between 08:30 - 14:30 and 14:30 - 20:30
Due to operational demand, you will be required to work every 4 or 5 Sundays.
Overview
Join to apply for the Postperson with Driving role at Royal Mail. This is a permanent role delivering mail in Maidenhead and serving the local community.
Responsibilities
* Deliver mail and parcels as part of a postal route
* Walk long periods and work outside in any weather
* Provide excellent customer service and represent Royal Mail in the community
* Adhere to safety and operational standards while completing deliveries

* Upbeat, independent and self-motivated
* Organised, punctual and ready to deliver great customer service
* Think of yourself as a people-person and a friendly face in the community
* Has a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points

* A guaranteed hourly rate of £13.06p/h (paid monthly and adjusted to your working hours)
* Paid overtime, with an enhanced rate of x1.25 for hours over 40 per week
* 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service (adjusted to your working hours if below 40 hours/week), with option to buy extra leave

Please note: For candidate search purposes, roles offering between 35-40 hours per week are listed as full-time. However, any role under 40 hours per week will be classified as part-time in the employment contract.
