Role Description
We are seeking a Technical Co-Founder with proven edtech and startup experience to take ownership of building and scaling our platform. This is not just a job — it’s an opportunity to join at the ground floor as a co-founder, shaping the product and technical direction of Mentiora.
Initially, the role will be commission-based from sales, with the potential to transition into equity and long-term ownership as we grow. The right candidate will be entrepreneurial, passionate about education, and capable of building robust applications from scratch.
Responsibilities
* Take full technical ownership of Mentiora’s platform.
* Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications (React, Next.js, Supabase, Stripe integrations, etc.).
* Oversee infrastructure, databases, and product architecture.
* Collaborate with the founder on product roadmap and business strategy.
* Lead future technical hires as the team grows.
* Ensure product reliability, security, and user experience meet the needs of students and parents.
Qualifications
* Proven experience building edtech applications from scratch (portfolio/examples required).
* Strong background in full-stack development (React, Next.js, TypeScript, databases like Supabase/Firebase/Postgres).
* Experience with subscription/payment systems (Stripe or similar).
* Demonstrated ability to design scalable, secure, and user-friendly applications.
* Entrepreneurial mindset and prior startup or co-founder experience preferred.
* Bonus: experience in AI/ML for personalised learning or education tools.
