Location: Shoreditch, London
Working Structure: Office Based (Thursday we work from home)
Reports to: Chief Operations Officer
Salary: Up to £55K, plus annual bonus
Who are we?
Since medical cannabis was legalised in the UK in 2018, Cantourage UK has been building the infrastructure that makes this industry work - safely, compliantly and at scale.
We operate across two deeply interconnected worlds:
* A regulated tele-health clinic, delivering high-quality patient care
* A licensed pharmaceutical supply operation, powering the wider ecosystem
Together, they form a complex, high-trust system where clinical integrity, operational excellence and smart technology must work in lockstep.
We’re now looking for our first Business Analyst to build the analytical backbone of the organisation and define what ‘good’ looks like as we scale.
What’s the purpose of the role?
You will be the foundational analytical hire within the Core Operations unit. This is not a reporting role. It’s about engineering structure into complexity.
Reporting directly to the COO, and working closely with our Special Projects Manager, you will translate operational, clinical and pharmaceutical workflows into clear systems, governed insights and scalable processes.
You will build what we call the “Office of the Analyst” – moving the business away from fragmented spreadsheets and reactive reporting towards a centralised, predictive, data-led operating model.
In short: you’ll turn operational complexity into structured intelligence.
What impact will you have?
Build the Office of the Analyst
* Establish a centralised Data & Insights function to replace ad-hoc spreadsheet reporting
* Define governance standards for reporting, metrics and system ownership
* Introduce structured process engineering across operational workflows
Propel the End-to-End Digital Health Platform
* Map and unify Clinical & Pharmaceutical operations into a coherent ecosystem
* Identify friction points between systems, teams and processes
* Design data flows that unlock synergies and expansion
Structural Process Engineering
* Analyse and redesign workflows to improve efficiency within regulatory constraints
* Distinguish clearly between project delivery and business analysis – partnering with Special Projects to drive sustainable change
* Embed documentation, clarity and ownership across complex processes
Predictive Risk & Intelligent Planning
* Build early-warning dashboards and risk-monitoring frameworks
* Identify operational bottlenecks before they become business-critical
* Shift operations from reactive firefighting to proactive, data-led planning
AI & Automation Leverage
* Identify opportunities for AI and automation across operational processes
* Reduce manual intervention through intelligent systems
* Turn complexity into scalable, governed automation
What will you bring to the table?
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Economics or a related field
* Extensive experience in Business Analysis, Process Improvement, Operational Transformation or Management Consulting
* Experience operating in high-regulation environments
* Strong structural process engineering capability
* Strong hypothesis-led problem solving and structured communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to senior stakeholders
* Technical data proficiency (advanced Excel essential; comfortable with BI tools preferred)
* Commercial acumen – you understand how process impacts revenue, margin and risk
If you have the following, it’ll be a huge bonus
* Experience working with complex inventory environments
* Experience transitioning a business from “scrappy” to structured
* Hands-on AI or automation deployment experience
* Experience building governance frameworks from scratch
Who wouldn’t thrive in this role?
* Someone who prefers reactive reporting over proactive system design
* Someone uncomfortable operation within regulatory constraints
* Someone who confuses documentation with bureaucracy
* Someone who needs rigid instruction rather than autonomy
What do we offer?
📅 36 day annual leave (includes your birthday + all UK public holidays)
💰 Performance based annual bonus
🩺 Comprehensive private medical insurance
🤸 ClassPass membership (gyms, fitness classes, yoga, massages & more)
🚴 Cycle-to-work scheme
