Job Title: Project Manager
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Project Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of large-scale live events, from initial concept and design through to successful delivery. This role plays a critical part in ensuring events are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
Salary: Up to £50,000
Role Overview
As Project Manager, you will monitor progress, manage risks, resolve issues, and drive project performance while minimising delays. You will lead the end-to-end execution of events, ensuring alignment with technical and production standards, and support the implementation of consistent processes and SOPs across all projects.
Collaboration is key. You will work closely with Sales, Operations, and fellow Project Management professionals to define technical requirements and communicate clear, actionable execution plans to all stakeholders.
Key Job Responsibilities
* Prepare and communicate technical production & labour schedules, sub-rental requirements, project scope, execution plan, and responsibilities to team members, vendors, and venue partners.
* Determine and secure resources required for each project.
* Maintain focus on client needs by attending meetings, creating organized documentation, and addressing client concerns.
* Monitor project scope and adjust as necessary for successful completion.
* Assist sales and operations teams with equipment needs and technical solutions.
* Create technical diagrams as needed.
* Review sales documents to ensure equipment and technical positions meet client needs.
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing outstanding customer service.
* Provide leadership for technical teams during events.
* Ensure all health and safety documentation is in place and communicated prior to event execution.
Event Execution
* Act as the project leader and onsite contact for the client.
* Manage all phases of event technical execution.
* Oversee inventory management during events.
* Communicate project plans and client expectations to the event team.
* Manage onsite changes and modifications.
* Mentor team members and promote best practices.
* Ensure compliance with technical and production standards.
* Follow health and safety standards and ensure team adherence.
* Follow up with clients onsite to ensure needs are met.
* Assist in budget management and cost control.
* Coordinate post-event invoicing and vendor payments.
Administrative & Training
* Complete post-event reporting and workforce documentation.
* Participate in developing Project Management SOPs.
* Review and analyze proposed events.
