The post will be flexibly time-tabled to meet the demands of the service, and the timing of sessions may change as the service develops.
A typical week would consist of 10 Programmed Activities (PA's):
* Inpatient care on the Respiratory wards at NSECH
* Respiratory clinics at NTGH, WGH, and HGH
* Admin and audit: Regional teaching plus monthly SpR teaching
* Opportunity to attend Bronchoscopy and EBUS and gain experience, provided above activities are covered
* Contribution to the Respiratory Fellow rota

Teaching and Research
Expected to undertake undergraduate teaching, including assessment and feedback for medical students and junior doctors. Research is encouraged, supported by the Trust’s R&D Department.

Participate in clinical audits, monitor standards, and support evidence-based guidelines. The Clinical Excellence Department offers assistance with audit and governance issues.
Continued Professional Development
Support for lifelong learning, personal development planning, and leadership skills development. Reflective practice and feedback are integral to the role.
