Senior Support Worker - Weston-super-Mare Senior Support Worker Care and Support - Serenita ARBD Care Home Contract: Full Time Salary: 12.75- 13.00 Per Hour Shift Type: Days Contracted hours: Full Time Serenita Care Home is a well established service in Weston-super-Mare, set within a characterful Victorian residence close to the seafront. Supporting up to 34 residents, the home provides specialist care for individuals with mental health conditions, including alcohol related brain damage and Korsakoff's syndrome, within a structured, supportive and independence focused environment. Senior Support Worker 12.75 to 13.00 per hour Full time hours Paid pension, uniform provided, free onsite parking 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract) Ongoing training and career development opportunities Role Overview As a Senior Support Worker, you will lead the care team on shift, ensuring residents receive safe, consistent and high quality support within a structured environment. You will play a key role in maintaining a calm and supportive atmosphere, promoting independence and wellbeing for individuals with complex mental health needs. You will support residents with daily routines including personal care, mobility and engagement, ensuring dignity and choice are always maintained. You will also take responsibility for medication administration, accurate record keeping and responding appropriately to any changes in residents' needs. You will guide and support team members, providing direction and promoting best practice across all aspects of care. Working closely with families and professionals, you will help ensure a consistent and person centred approach that supports each resident's progress and independence.
