Welder / Fabricator
Location: Oldham
Salary: £30,000 – £32,000 + Overtime + Benefits
I am working with a well-established machinery manufacturer based in Oldham. They are looking to add a skilled Welder/Fabricator to their shopfloor team, due to continued growth and a strong order book. The Welder/Fabricator must have MIG or TIG welding experience within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities of the Welder/Fabricator
* Fabricate frames, supports, brackets, and assemblies
* Carry out MIG and TIG welding to a high standard
* Work from engineering drawings and technical instructions
* Use fabrication machinery including saws, press brakes, drills, and grinders
* Complete finishing work such as deburring and surface preparation
* Support mechanical assembly and installation when required
* Carry out quality checks on completed work
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Requirements of the Welder/Fabricator
* Time served Welder/Fabricator or equivalent experience
* Strong MIG and/or TIG welding experience
* Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
* Experience using fabrication and workshop machinery
* Good understanding of tolerances and quality standards
