In this role, you will help children develop academically, socially, and emotionally. In SEN Schools across Halifax (Calderdale).
Responsibilities of a SEN Teacher:
Plan and deliver differentiated lessons for pupils with SEN.
Support pupils with SEMH, Autism, ADHD, and other learning difficulties.
Work with teaching assistants and SENCOs to implement IEPs.
Track pupil progress and adapt interventions accordingly.
Liaise with parents and external professionals to ensure holistic support.Requirements of a SEN Teacher:
Qualified teacher with SEN experience.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Empathetic, adaptable, and solution-focused.
