Responsibilities
As our Production Manager, you’ll help shape Riverford’s future.
Every week, our main production site – Wash Barn, Devon – packs over 25,000 veg boxes, 6,000 recipe boxes, and 250,000 individual items. This equates to around £70 millions of retail sales annually. We’re a largely manual operation and rely on great organisation and team work to achieve the results we need.
As production manager, you’ll lead five to seven team managers and upwards of 70 co-owners in operational teams across two shifts. This role is for someone who has experience leading high-performing team’s in a values-focused organisation.
Salary: £49,000 - £55,000 per annum depending on experience
Location: This role is based at, Wash Barn, Buckfastleigh, Devon, TQ11 0JU.
Hours - This is a permanent position working 40 hours a week Sunday to Thursday (core hours will be 11am-5.30pm with flexi time either side)
What You’ll Bring…
* Management of 70+ people in a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment.
* Track record in developing high-performing teams that work together.
* Competent in both coaching your team and performance managing them if required.
* ERP knowledge (AX preferable).
* Financial and P&L experience.
* Project management experience.
* Ability to investigate trends and plan for outcomes.
* Previous experience of CI process improvement in flow and production processes.
* Played a key role in health and safety culture.
