This is a key leadership role where you will make a real difference by developing and managing our pre-operative assessment service to deliver outstanding patient care. As the Pre Assessment Nursing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance, quality, and smooth running of the POA department. Youll lead, motivate, and inspire a dedicated nursing team to ensure the highest standards of care, safety and patient experience. This role requires a strong clinical leader with excellent assessment skills, who can confidently evaluate patients fitness for surgery and make informed decisions. You will be responsible for driving efficiency across the department, managing clinic schedules, pathways, and processes. While constantly striving to improve patient flow and outcomes. Able to work independently and prioritise patient caseload and POA workload. Ability to work autonomously and experience of supervision of staff.
