Drafting employment contracts for new starters
Ensuring all new starter documentation is updated and maintained
Tracking sickness and managing sick notes for all employees as needed
Assisting managers with return-to-work procedures following employee sickness
Supporting directors and managers in handling employee relations, liaising with a third-party HR provider
Collaborating with the third-party HR provider to keep the employee handbook up to date and ensure compliance with all necessary policies
Payroll Functions
Gathering hours worked from managers and calculating gross pay, including overtime based on established pay rates
Receiving and processing bonus details from managers
Calculating commissions for sales teams
Maintaining a comprehensive master file of employee rates, hours, contracted days, and other relevant details
Submitting payroll data to the payroll provider
Reviewing payroll reports to ensure accuracy before finalisation
