Financial Controller – International Real Estate Fund & Investor
I am working exclusively with a UK real estate fund and investor, renowned for its diverse portfolio and strategic investment approach.
Following a series of high-profile acquisitions and continued expansion, they are seeking a commercially minded Financial Controller to join their dynamic and fast-paced finance team.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and operations of a highly respected investment group with a strong track record in delivering value across commercial, residential, and mixed-use real estate.
Lead financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and monthly management accounts
Monitor and optimise cash flow, working capital, and financial risk
Manage month-end and year-end close processes, coordinating with external auditors and tax advisors
Develop and strengthen internal controls, financial policies, and reporting systems
Provide high-quality financial analysis to support investment decisions and asset performance
Implement scalable financial processes and systems in line with international best practices
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
~5-6 years post-qualification experience, ideally within real estate investment, private equity, or a fund environment
~ Strong technical accounting knowledge with commercial acumen
~ Proven ability to operate in a high-performance, entrepreneurial setting
~ Exceptional attention to detail and confidence in presenting financial insight to senior stakeholders
