Intranet Executive - Law - Bristol - 12 month FTC An extremely longstanding and international law firm that is based out of the UK has a requirement for an Intranet Executive to join their Knowledge Management function. The role is based out of their Bristol office and is initially offered on a 12 month fixed term basis. This position will play a key role in helping to manage and develop their intranet capability (based on SharePoint) and the role will supply an opportunity for the successful candidate to gain or refine their skills in wider KM related technologies. This role is one that would be extremely suitable for someone that has some experience working with intranets from a content perspective, and would value the opportunity to apply these in a complex and multinational legal setting The primary responsibilities and objectives of the role include, but are not limited to: Training Content Editors within the firm, assigning permissions, maintaining content lists, troubleshooting and providing a support service Approving major page redesigns, quality checking usability and UX Defining business requirements and needs with stakeholders across the international business and managing ongoing communication channels Generating usage reports, maintaining the site map, managing the lifecycle of sites and the provision of regular site maintenance Participating in both intranet and wider KM projects and initiatives To be a suitable applicant for this role, a strong mix of the following skills and experience are required: An existing knowledge of intranets (ideally SharePoint) from a content, structure and administrative perspective is a pre-requisite Highly organised and with an ability to manage conflicting priorities and work to deadlines Refined stakeholder engagement, relationship building and communication skills An ability to operate as an SME and to train, support and collect user requirements Ideally, some experience in the creation of usage reports, operating in a training capacity or as a mentor to less experienced team members A related degree would be extremely beneficial, but is not an essential requirement
