Salary: £40,000 - £48,000 per year (dependant on experience)
Location: Northallerton, North Yorkshire
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Benefits : 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, company pension and other benefits.
We have an opportunity for an experienced Retrofit Coordinator to join our Sustainability team at Align Property Services.
You will join a team of Retrofit Coordinators, Assessors and Designers to coordinate domestic retrofit programmes delivered to PAS 2035, improving homes across North Yorkshire. You will help shape solutions that are practical, compliant and deliver measurable benefits for residents and clients.
Importantly, our retrofit work is not dependent on ECO funding. We have secured Warm Homes funding and, as a company wholly owned by North Yorkshire Council, we are an established route for delivering retrofit work funded through allocations made to local authorities, such as Warm Homes projects. This provides a stable, long-term pipeline of work. This role is ideal for Retrofit Coordinators who may currently be working on ECO-funded schemes and are looking for a more secure future as ECO winds down.
Align Property Services, who are we?
We are an award-winning building design consultancy and are proud to have been recently named the Regional Energy Consultancy and Regional New Build Project of the year.. Our work has been highlighted as national best practice and we have been shortlisted for National Energy Consultancy of the Year Award for 2025.
Align Property Services is a Limited Company, wholly owned by North Yorkshire Council and we are one of the largest multi-discipline building design consultancies in the North of England. We are collaborative in the way we work, offering a broad range of services in Architecture, Sustainability, Building Surveying, Project Management, Civil & Structural, Transport Planning, Bridges, Highways & Drainage Engineering, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, CD, Property Advisory & Estate Management.
We are dynamic and diverse in our approach to projects, from valuing small gardens to multi-million-pound listed structures including schools, fire stations, care homes and other public and commercial buildings across the UK.
As a Retrofit Coordinator

* Demonstrate strong working knowledge of PAS 2035 and awareness of PAS 2030 requirements.
* Be comfortable coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and suppliers, managing concurrent schemes and deadlines.
* Have experience with TrustMark lodgement and maintaining audit-ready documentation.
