•Modern Facilities: Separate consultation rooms, dedicated wards for cats and dogs (with stress-reducing diffusers), a well-equipped prep area, and a state-of-the-art theatre.
•Advanced Equipment: Our comprehensive range of equipment includes ultrasound, multi-parameter monitors, in-house blood and urine analyzers (IMAGYST), K-Laser therapy, fluid warmers, digital X-ray, and dental X-ray.
•Collaborative Environment: We foster a supportive team dynamic and work with a visiting orthopedic specialist and cardiologist to enhance our services. We also have a strong commitment to animal welfare and collaborate with several charities.
The Role
As a Senior Veterinary Surgeon, you will play a key role in our expanding team. This full-time position (approximately 40 hours per week) offers an exceptional work-life balance with no out-of-hours, on-call duties, Sundays, or night shifts. Our weekend rota is on a rolling basis for Saturdays, ensuring you have ample time for rest and professional development.

•Play an influential part in the growth of our expanding practice, working across both our established Poplar Vets clinic and our flagship Wood Wharf Vets location.
Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive leader who shares our commitment to gold-standard care. The ideal candidate will be:
•A qualified and RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience.
•A confident and skilled clinician, comfortable with a range of surgical and medical cases.
•A natural leader with excellent communication skills and a passion for mentoring others.
•Enthusiastic about continuous learning and driving clinical excellence within the practice.
•Able to take initiative and contribute to a productive and collaborative work environment.

•Competitive Salary: Up to £75,000 per year, with the potential for more based on experience and performance. For the right candidate with significant experience, we are open to negotiating a competitive package above this range.
