Overview
Due to continued growth, we are looking for security focused individuals who bring deep expertise in OT cyber security across Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) sectors and have an honest and empathetic approach to customer conversations. You will have hands‑on experience in a client‑facing role and substantial experience across a broad range of security topics, while creating and leading high‑performing teams. You will also continually develop key senior relationships both internally and externally, ensuring high quality delivery, identifying new opportunities and shaping service‑based solutions to enable revenue growth.
Responsibilities
* Lead OT risk assessments, threat modelling and vulnerability assessments.
* Assess and assure compliance with NIS Regulations, NCSC CAF, NIST CSF, IEC 62443, ISO 27001 and sector‑specific guidance.
* Develop security measures and designs to deliver improvements, including system hardening standards, network segmentation, asset management and monitoring approaches for OT.
* Provide expert guidance on OT integration, cloud‑connected OT, remote access, legacy protection and emerging technologies.
* Develop and review standards, designs and solutions for OT environments.
* Develop, manage and continually improve team performance and associated service area.
* Lead OT engagements ensuring adequate resources, on‑time, on‑budget delivery and contractual compliance.
* Act as senior point of contact for clients, managing expectations, risks, issues and programme governance.
* Produce high‑quality written deliverables, including strategies, assessments, architectures and board‑level briefings.
* Facilitate client workshops, executive presentations, technical reviews and stakeholder engagement.
* Support pre‑sales engagements: scoping, estimating, proposal writing and client presentations.
* Identify new opportunities, nurture client relationships and produce sales proposals.
* Act as a subject‑matter expert in sales meetings, bids, tenders and industry events.
* Support the Associate Director and Chief Operating Officer with strategy, services and internal initiatives.
* Advocate Bridewell values and foster a high‑performance, inclusive culture.
* Mentor, coach and manage a team of consultants across Senior Lead to Consultant levels.
* Support development of Bridewell capabilities in OT security architecture, GRC, threat intelligence and incident response.
* Oversee training pathways, succession planning and competency development.
* Shape OT cyber security service offerings, templates and delivery frameworks.
* Contribute to thought leadership through whitepapers, webinars and presentations.
* Track and interpret OT threat landscapes, regulatory developments and technology trends.
* Collaborate across technical, commercial and managed services teams to strengthen integrated propositions.
Experience & Qualifications
* Principal level with experience leading projects for key clients and managing a high‑performing team of Senior Lead and Senior consultants.
* Industry expertise delivering large‑scale OT and cyber security projects, implementing compliance frameworks and managing long‑standing client relationships.
* Strong knowledge across OT security disciplines and control frameworks, acting as a point of escalation and providing services directly to customers.
Technical Skills
* Deep knowledge of OT security controls, architectures and best practices.
* Proficient in IC‑S/SCADA protocol analysis (Modbus, DNP3, Profinet, OPC‑UA, CIP).
* Experience with OT frameworks such as IEC 62443 and NCSC CAF for assessment and program delivery.
* Understanding of OT system design, industrial networks, PLCs, HMIs, safety systems and security tooling (asset discovery, anomaly detection, threat analytics).
Consulting & Communication
* Exceptional written and verbal communication; experience presenting to senior executives, regulators and technical teams.
* Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language.
* Strong stakeholder management across engineering, operations, cyber and executive leadership.
* Experience working at all levels of an organisation and managing stakeholders effectively.
Commercial & Sales
* Develop services and solutions to drive revenue growth.
* Escalate complex matters requiring expertise, stakeholder management and strong customer relationships.
* Produce costed sales proposals and scope engagements accurately.
* History of growing accounts or developing long‑term client relationships.
Leadership
* Proven experience leading large teams of consultants or engineers in complex project environments.
* Ability to create, inspire, coach and develop high‑performing teams.
Qualifications & Certifications (Desirable)
* Degree in Engineering, Cyber Security, Computer Science or related field.
* GICSP, GRID, CISSP, CISM, ISA/IEC 62443 certificates.
* Prince2, Agile or similar delivery qualifications.
