This role is a key member of the Communications team and will be responsible for delivering imaginative, impactful and timely communications that support strategic priorities in the UK and Europe. The role is ideally based on a hybrid working arrangement from our Aberdeen headquarters; however, we welcome applications from candidates located across the UK. LI-hybrid The Role This role will take ownership of regional communications projects, events and campaigns. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across the region and will create and deliver tailored internal and external content and campaigns aligned to the company’s strategic ambitions and regional growth plan. As a core contributor to the communications function, the role holder will collaborate with peers to execute integrated campaigns and communications initiatives that inform, engage and inspire audiences, reinforcing a unified brand voice and elevating Wood’s presence across the region. Expected: Bachelor’s degree in a Marketing, Communications or related field Significant experience within a communications role (Associated experience in agency, journalism, copy writing deemed equivalent) Knowledge of communication methods and channels relevant to a large, complex organisation, with demonstrable experience using a multi-channel strategy Knowledge of market and industry issues and trends Clear understanding of reputational risk and appropriate mitigations and response Content development, creative writing, concept development and examples of published work Experience in campaign delivery and measurement Experience of event planning and delivery Desirable: Experience working in the energy industry Personal Attributes: Highly creative thinker and problem solver with a keen eye for detail Excellent presenter and persuader Enthusiasm, can-do attitude and energy Good organisational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and take responsibility for project delivery A team player with the ability to guide and influence with excellent articulation skills Capable of time and priority management, and ability to work under pressure Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with large section of the business and influence decision making and direction Ability to: Write impeccable content Foster trusted, open and honest relationships within the business Develop strategic and engaging marketing and communications solutions across a variety of channels Ensure the integrity of the information distributed across all channels
