As a Registered Nurse with Leonard Cheshire, you will be responsible and accountable for providing the highest standards of nursing, clinical, and personal support to our customers as outlined in Person-Centred Plans. You will order and administer medication, ensure safe storage, and record all information in accordance with internal procedures and NMC guidelines.
Effectively leading a team of support staff, you will ensure the smooth and efficient management of the shift. You will prioritize and plan, delegate relevant activities, and ensure the needs of our customers are met within a safe and caring environment.
You will support ongoing assessments, observe any changes in health and well-being, and ensure records are maintained in a timely manner. You will also support customers with physical care, personal hygiene needs, and daily tasks.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
* A thorough and up-to-date knowledge of nursing theory and best practice at the level of a qualified nurse (level 5).
* An understanding of the NMC code of conduct and relevant practice standards and guidance.
* Effective nursing practice in all basic registered nurse procedures.
* Flexibility to work rostered hours and on-call rota as required.
