Kingscroft has been asked to recruit for an Internal Sales candidate for a fast paced manufacturing business. As the ideal candidate you will have had experience of working in a Customer Account Management or an Internal Sales based role in a manufacturing, technical or engineering setting. You will be confident of acting as the focal point for customer orders; liaising closely with external sales teams initially and then through engineering, manufacturing, quality and dispatch.
Your key skills and responsibilities will include:
Customer Service Communication
Act as the primary point of contact for day-to-day customer queries, requests, and issues.
Respond to telephone, email, and online enquiries promptly and professionally.
Provide customers with product information, pricing, lead times, and order updates.
Build strong, positive relationships with existing and potential customers.
Sales Support
Prepare and issue quotations based on customer needs and company pricing guidelines.
Follow up on quotes to convert leads and maximise sales opportunities.
Support external sales representatives with account management and follow-ups.
Identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities where appropriate.
Order Processing Administration
Process sales orders accurately, ensuring all details are correct and captured in the system.
Liaise with production, purchasing, logistics, and finance teams to ensure timely fulfilment of customer orders.
Maintain customer records and update CRM or ERP systems.
Monitor stock levels and communicate availability or delays to customers.
Problem Resolution
Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner.
Investigate and resolve delivery, product, or invoice discrepancies.
Ensure solutions meet both customer expectations and company policies.
