An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Controller to join Rolls-Royce Submarines in Derby.

You will be responsible for controlling and delivering smaller, lower complexity packages of work. This includes monitoring, reviewing, and reporting the status of your assigned scope of work in accordance with the Project Management Plan and in agreement with the Project Sponsor and Project Manager.

What you will be doing:
* Deliver smaller, lower complexity packages of work effectively.
* Facilitate and govern project management documents and artefacts.
* Report the status of assigned work according to project requirements.
* Manage and report variances to the project baseline and track key performance indicators.
* Review project data, identify trends, report anomalies, and propose corrective actions if performance deviates from specifications.
* Implement effective controls following company procedures to meet project success criteria.
* Provide accurate reports to relevant stakeholders within defined timescales.
* Manage risk and opportunity activities.
Who we’re looking for:

* Industry experience or a degree qualification is preferable.
* Some experience in project management.
* Attained or working towards APM Project Management Qualification or equivalent.
* Membership of the Association of Project Management (AMAPM or MAPM) is desirable.
* Experience working and delivering in cross-functional teams.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP and P6 is a plus.
