Consultant in Anaesthesia with a General Anaesthesia
University Hospital Hairmyres is looking to recruit a consultant with General Anaesthesia interest. The appointee will take part in a dedicated General on call rota based on a 1 in 10 frequency.
The new appointee will join a department of 22 consultants undertaking 2.5 and/or 2 session days made up from the following subspecialties: ITU, general surgery, robotics, vascular, ECT, orthopaedics, CEPOD, urology, ophthalmology, ENT, gynaecology and pre-assessment. Any specialist interest could be accommodated.
The exact configuration of sessions will be determined following appointment when a job plan will be issued as part of the contract.
The job is offered as a full-time post on a 10 PA basis (including up to 2 non-DCC) but applications will be considered from those wishing to work less than full-time.
