Senior Business Analyst Overview
We are looking for a full‑time (35 hours per week) Senior Business Analyst who can support our growing IT Department. As the Senior Business Analyst, you will have a diverse and varied role. You’ll collaborate with our global teams to support company initiatives and uncover innovative solutions, while taking a proactive approach to your day‑to‑day responsibilities.
Responsibilities & Duties
* Act as the subject matter expert for software platforms, product suites, and business system capabilities
* Identify solutions and address gaps in products, processes, or knowledge, managing delivery into production and live use across all TAG regional offices
* Define, develop, and enhance capabilities of existing products and processes in live operation
* Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical solutions using methodologies such as use cases, user stories, UML diagrams, and related artefacts
* Test new functionality as defined and developed, through direct and/or collaborative involvement
* Analyze APIs to support integration with third‑party platforms, including airline reservation and airport operations systems, hotel booking tools, payment gateways, insurance services, and more
* Lead workshops with internal and external stakeholders and collaborate with third‑party providers and specialists to understand system behaviours and interface requirements
* Present and demonstrate product concepts and solutions internally and externally to clients, supplier partners, and third‑party providers
* Ensure visibility and clear communication of product and process changes, providing defined requirements for technical teams
* Provide ongoing support, guidance, and expertise to business and technical teams regarding system requirements
Qualifications
* Senior‑level Business Analyst experience, including team leadership and delivery of business system and process change
* Proven ability to succeed in a fast‑paced environment while collaborating across multiple business functions to achieve organisational goals
* Strong track record of producing clear, effective technical and non‑technical documentation
* Demonstrated understanding of integration technologies, standards, and interfacing methodologies
* Proficiency in UML and other common modelling languages and tools
* Advanced user of Microsoft Office 365 and collaboration platforms
* Working knowledge of airline booking tools, including Travelport or other GDS systems
* Experience in commercial IT/software delivery, with background in the airline or broader travel industry
