Job Summary
The French Touché is growing at a fast rate that makes us seek a dedicated and passionate Football Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sports coaching and a commitment to educating young athletes in the fundamentals of football. This role involves not only developing players' skills but also fostering teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement training programmes that enhance players' skills and fitness levels.
* Conduct regular practice sessions (private, small group & team training), focusing on the technical, athletic, mental & IQ of the players we work with.
* Educate players on game strategies, rules, and techniques to improve their understanding of the sport.
* Monitor player performance during practices and video analysis of their matches, providing constructive feedback for improvement.
* Coordinate with parents and guardians regarding player development and team activities.
* Ensure the safety of all participants during training sessions and matches by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in sports coaching, particularly in football at a competitive level.
* Strong knowledge of football techniques, tactics, and training methodologies.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and motivate players effectively.
* Ability to work collaboratively with other coaches, staff, and parents to promote a positive sporting environment.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan effective training sessions.
* Holding an Introduction to Football certificate, UEFA C or B Licence, not essential for the right candidate willing to obtain one.
