About Us
The Cancer Research UK & UCL Cancer Trials Centre (CTC) is a UKCRC registered and NCRI Clinical Trials Unit group member: https://www.ctc.ucl.ac.uk/. It is one of the largest cancer trials centres in the UK, managing over 80 research studies with more than 115 staff members.
The CTC conducts clinical studies in oncology, both nationally and internationally, with a focus on evaluating anti-cancer treatments and methods of diagnosis and early detection.
About The Role
The main purpose of this role is to ensure data accuracy and completeness, adherence to trial protocols, and assist with trial site closures and documentation archiving. The postholder will support the trial team administratively and serve as a key contact for hospital partners. Additionally, the role involves developing standard practices and problem-solving within the CTC.
This is a hybrid role with flexibility to work both remotely and onsite, requiring a minimum of 60% onsite presence (3 days/week for full-time staff). The position is full-time, open-ended, initially funded for 2 years, with appointments typically at the beginning of the salary scale.
About You
The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of life sciences, understanding of clinical trial phases, and experience in data entry and database management.
