 
        Permanent Bookkeeper required for Lisburn. Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage our companys day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate will take ownership of maintaining accurate financial records, preparing management reports, and ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements. This role requires strong technical skills in Sage Accounts and Sage Payroll, along with a proactive approach to financial management and reporting. Duties will include: Manage Profit & Loss accounts and prepare monthly management accounts. Process sales and purchase invoices accurately and in a timely manner. Operate and maintain Sage Accounts and Sage Payroll systems. Process VAT, PAYE, and Pension submissions in compliance with regulations. Oversee the invoice finance facility and manage cash flow effectively. Reconcile bank accounts and ensure all financial records are clear, accurate, and compliant. Support directors with financial insights, performance reporting, and ad-hoc analysis. Essential Criteria: Minimum 3 years, proven bookkeeping experience Strong proficiency with Sage Accounts and Sage Payroll software. Confident in managing VAT, PAYE, and Pension processes. Experience in preparing management accounts and overseeing cashflow. Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills. A proactive, reliable, and self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Desirable Attributes AAT qualification or equivalent bookkeeping certification. Previous experience working within a finance team or supporting senior management. Strong communication and analytical skills.
