About The Role
We are looking to recruit a skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our engineering team at our factory in Barton. The candidate will work from Monday to Friday,14:30 - 23:00.
Main Responsibilities:
* To carry out planned and reactive maintenance
* Providing rapid response to breakdown's when required
* Fault finding including PLC, trouble shooting, repairing and maintaining equipment and plant using all engineering disciplines to ensure minimum lost production time
* Perform high quality root-cause analysis for technical and process problems
* Support, suggest and implement improvements (Safety, Technology, Process)
* Utilise the CMMS system to record all works (ShireSystem)
* To proactively work towards the continued success and support of the business with a can-do attitude.
About You
*Desired skills & knowledge:*
* Time served engineer with NVQ level 3 (Electrical).
* Experience in a similar engineering function and in industrial environment.
* Understanding of PLC Systems.
* An ability to work well under pressure.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent technical skills and knowledge.
* To think on your own initiative.
* Continuous improvement attitude
