About the Role
As a SEN Teacher, you will support pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, or mental health challenges (SEMH). You will play a key role in delivering individualised learning plans that promote academic progress and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver lessons that are adapted to the specific needs of each learner
* Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals
* Monitor pupil progress and adjust strategies to support development
* Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment

What We’re Looking For
* Experience working with children with SEN, either in a specialist or mainstream setting
* A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, QTLS, or equivalent)
* Knowledge of strategies to support learners with additional needs
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
