Your future duties and responsibilities:
-Design and develop applications using latest Java concepts in Spring Boot
-Design and maintain APIs, services, and different payment sources
-Work with API developers across the teams to build new API features at large-scale
-Improve API standards and services
-Review design documents and provide feedback on approach and estimates
-Provide technical expertise in the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of software
-Ensure that software meets or exceed specified standards and end-user requirements
-You will complete complex development, design, implementation, architecture design specification, and maintenance activities
-You may approve technical solutions proposed by team members and elevate complex technical issues to IT experts, including architects
-You will be expected to recommend development options, including design, build, and test
-You will resolve technical problems discovered by the team and internal clients Responsible for responding in a timely manner Researching issues and performing root cause analysis
-Codes, tests, debugs, documents and implements complex software applications
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
-Experience leading a team of developers
-8+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using Java.
-5+ years of experience of Rest API development and maintenance using Spring Boot.
-Knowledge of and Experience with Java (API Dev), SpringBoot, Microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD and DevOps tools such as GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins etc.
-Knowledge with OpenShift, Kafta will be plus
-Experience working in Agile and /or Scrum development.
-Problem solving and/or analytical thinking.
-Possess ability to manage workload, manage multiple priorities, and manage conflicts with customers/employees/managers, as applicable.
-Excellent oral and written communication skills.
