Bid Manager – new role to set up a bid/pitch function in one of the UK’s most innovative law firms. Up to £80,000 bonus. This UK law firm is one of the most well-known in the sector and has doubled in size and revenue over the last five years. It boasts and ambitious and entrepreneurial partnership which is really understands business development. In this brand new Bid Manager role, you will set up a new bid capability. This is to meet the increasing demands of the business as the firm develops from its disputes and private client work to more corporate and private equity work. Specifically you will: Lead on the firm’s major RFPs and panel pitches from beginning to end, including coaching partners; Improve the win ratio which currently stands at 50%; Develop a process, infrastructure and systems around pitching; Put in place a more proactive pursuit led approach to pitching; Add creativity to bids, pitches and proposals; In the medium term build a bid team. The role would suit a creative Bid Manager who has a can-do attitude and has experience of the full pitch life cycle, coaching stakeholders for pitch presentations and developing central bid libraries. Legal experience would be ideal, but the firm are also open to speaking to candidates from wider professional services firms.
