Become a Tekla Structural Support Engineer
Shape the future of structural engineering support! We are looking for a structural or civil engineering professional to become a Tekla software expert at Trimble's Leeds office. Your engineering background will help top‑tier clients master Tekla Structural Designer and Tekla Tedds to build iconic structures across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high‑level technical engineering support to Tekla software users through direct consultation and collaborative community forums.
* Build a global engineering knowledge base by authoring high‑value technical support content for the Tekla User Assistance site.
* Collaborate directly with clients' structural and civil engineering teams to optimize workflows for complex, real‑world infrastructure projects.
* Create, update, and deliver dynamic training courses at our Leeds training centre and at customer sites across the UK and Ireland.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Professional experience using Tekla Structural Designer and Tekla Tedds in engineering workflows.
* A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent) from an accredited university.
* Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills with aptitude to master new software quickly.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in fluent English, with the ability to produce clear, structured technical text.
Bonus Points For
* Practical experience managing or detailing complex UK/Ireland national infrastructure or commercial building projects.
* A passion for teaching, mentoring, or creating educational content for engineering peers.
Logistics
* Location: Leeds, UK – 4 days in office.
* Travel requirement: 10%.
