Supply Hive are working with a small, nurturing special school in Slough supporting primary-aged pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. With small classes and a dedicated team, you’ll have the chance to make a real difference to each pupil’s learning and wellbeing. As a Class Teacher, you’ll plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of your pupils. You’ll work closely with teaching assistants, pastoral staff, and therapists to ensure each child’s learning and personal development is supported fully, helping them feel valued and understood. Responsibilities ✨ Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons tailored to SEMH pupils ✨ Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development ✨ Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff to provide 1:1 and small group support ✨ Build strong relationships with pupils, families, and the wider school community ✨ Contribute to a positive, safe, and nurturing learning environment Requirements ✅ Qualified teacher status (QTS) ✅ Experience teaching primary-aged pupils, SEN/SEMH experience desirable ✅ A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach ✅ Strong communication, organisation, and teamwork skills ✅ Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one) At Supply Hive, safeguarding is a top priority, and all applicants will be subject to enhanced DBS checks and referencing.
